You're saying it like Mickey wasn't the guy who run around ALONE trying to prevent worlds sinking into darkness for 10 years because local region had no active Keyblade Wielders left - also he did try to search but it is kinda hard to search for someone in multiverse w/o any idea where to look - because Aqua left w/o saying where she is going to and then herself made it impossible to gather ANY evidence by transforming Land of Departure into Castle Oblivion - Mickey had no means to even find out how Terra looked like - because if he did then he would've knew Terranort was Terra the first time they met in Radiant Garden and started his search from there. Seriously the guy is no Sora who has amazing heart connection tracking ability - he can barely track Aqua when they are in the SAME world CLOSE to each other. Oh you're saying he should've done it after KH1? Yeah why not do it when Org. XIII is on your tail and follows you so hard you didn't even visited home ONCE and GUESS WHAT - what happens when a person tracked by Org. XIII meets Aqua? EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED IN KH3 WHEN THEY TRACKED ANSEM THE WISE - and by coincedence found Aqua. Also the mouse had no way of traveling to Realm of Darkness aside from using Riku for it who was doing his own thing for an year while being very bothered by his Darkness - why not push traumatized boy to the limit? - Nope, Mickey had enough decency to specifically put Riku through the test for mastery so the boy will figure his stuff out and only THEN try to save Aqua. Why? Because he knows that he has to find a way to save Aqua - but not at the cost of risking lives of others again - because first time when he tried to jump into the action w/o proper prepartion or precaution - he lost everyone and blammed himself for it (despite the fact that his albeit amateurish ways still helped Ventus and Aqua to get that far w/o dying to Vanitas) - and it almost drove him to relinquish his Keybalde and only Yen Sid managed to talk him out of it. But sure he left Aqua in RoD for no reason and didn't blame himself for it for 12 years despite doing everything he could >.>

having gone through the hell that is Demon Tide critical mode...that last bit really hit home. The combination of them stealing some of your abilities like second chance and leaf bracer and being unable to change any abilities or actual equipment, combined with the demon tide's erratic attack patterns and stupidly high damage made it a nightmare to complete
