funny how sponsors made certain platforms of guns so prevalent in such short time. This was 2006, and since the CFOA was Trauma/Gridlock territory, so many teams are shooting DM/PMs here. And of course Shockers and Egos are right at the top too. But I only spotted 2 or 3 Angels in the entire film, and ZERO E-cockers, where there would have been tons of each of those guns only 2-3 years ago.

To an extent you're going to shoot what your sponsor wants you to shoot; most modern day sponsors even have it in writing to a degree. There's so many off brand markers out there now that are virtually identical to some of the most popular brands for half the price and absolutely slay. Shop and choose wisely people don't be deceived by mass marketing.

@@awsbakerordie Some people will call anything more than a one ball "overshooting". It's so annoying imo if you're gonna play paintball don't bitch about getting shot. You didn't get "overshot" unless there's like at least 15 balls on you.

It's crazy what has and hasn't changed. The kids that are coming up now don't know the pain of your marker going down in the middle of play like we had. Every thing is so reliable these days. It's a great thing too. Love that a lot of oldheads are getting back into the game(myself included).

Awwwwh back in the day with the big X and mini x’s…v force and halo’s..JT was king and if ya had a player that could run under the big X it was so cool what you could do…games lasted an hour + and the rate of fire was 15.5..we tore each other up..I miss those days.

Arguably the time period when "overshooting" was still legal and people weren't sissies about it. I'm not talking about bonus balls on opponents walking off the field, more tagging people to the point there's now way they could be wiping.

In fact most of the point were played so fast players were shooting less paint in a game than today. I was playing competitive speedball when guns were capped at 15BPS and a normal point was a loader or a loader and a pod not more, for longer points I could go through a loader and 3/4 pods max.

@@damienfavard2971 it definitely varied by position with my experience. I played mid field and some games were quick but some games a case was needed. 15bpm 7-mans need to be a thing again.

It’s not disrespect. It’s the guns were shooting 5bps faster and the style of play was a bit more fluid and aggressive. Disrespect is when you bonus ball someone waking to the dead box. If anything - I felt disrespected if another team wasn’t willing to drop the hammer. Go leave it all on the field and let the chips fall where they may.
