The only MatPat video I've ever seen was his goodbye video but this made me cry so hard
@raymiking23528 ай бұрын
Matpat announced his retirement to KZbin the day we were bringing our son home from the hospital, I was so sad to be entering a new and potentially scary chapter in my life without the comfort of his videos to keep me going like that always have. He said in the video he originally wanted to upload it on the day our son was born. Our sons name. Richter, from the game castlevania. So to hear now that matpats first memory is playing castlevania makes everything feel so perfect. Like the world isn’t so big after all.

I know that nobody will see my comment but Matthew's story is genuinely so inspiring. It shows people that they can achieve anything no matter what state they're in currently. It shows that you can change the world it shows that you could change somebodies life, that you can really do anything. Matthew Patrick is actually a kind, smart, and funny person. Even though he got a very good degree at duke he still followed his dream. That's an inspirational story that I really can't understand.

I've seen this before, but thought I'd rewatch it. Honestly, this is so inspiring to me. I want to be a voice actor, or maybe just a side actress, but right now, even if I'm young, I'm kinda worried for what my future might be. I'm kinda struggling sch00l, but seeing Matpat, such an amazing and pure guy, struggle before he was even successful is so honest. KZbin will miss him dearly, but he has and will inspire so many people💚

I think 33:40 captures why I really Like MatPat. He never got pompous or arrogant about his skills and in that small line "Do you want the film to be good?" might showcase just how impactful his failures in life were on him. Sticks keeps pulling incredible stories from incredible people that deserve their story be told.

if there's any youtuber's origin story I'd watch a movie about, it's mattpatts. Amazing how much he's done for the platform and how involved he's been while being professional the whole time.

You'd have dive a bit deeper. After he started The Game Theorists channel he set it up that other creators could post on the same channel. This made it easier for him as he always had content, same with them. If you want to know who those theorists were go watch a recent vid on The Game Theorists where MatPat is riding a tank and you willsee all of those theorists.
