Thats the thing arm wrestling doesnt use the muscles that people generally workout. When it comes to armwrestling average people is normally whoever is naturally stronger who wins. People who work out do get an advantage but not as much as people think. And also the type of excercise they normally do can make a difference.

He didn't put his body weight into it, there is only so much that your body weight can transfer over since the arms are stationed on the elbows, he actually did his homework on this, when link says why are you pulling back he was bringing his hand high up and past links knuckle line towards himself, allowing him to have an easy advantage right off the bat to bend links wrist over, after he had his wrist and position he used a bit of tricep push as well, I'm surprised..
