A person of such negative perspectives on just about everything is a drag on the comic book community. The channel and its content was more disrespectful than entertaining. Let’s also be aware maybe that channel is under review to be involuntarily removed? It doesn’t matter. It will be forgotten IF the channel actually ends which is doubtful given the past stunts. Dave, you’re obviously a positive force so please keep up the great content and good energy the comic book community needs. Moving on! No offense David, but you’re not taking several factors into consideration. He went from creating comic content to creating content that bullied specific people. He is a disparaging person who looks for negative attention. I don’t think he can come back from where he went in the comic community, and he has certainly displayed that in his recent videos. You shouldn’t even platform him. Find something else to talk about please, like comics.

I talked to sticky for about a half an hour at a very small local show and he was a super nice guy. I think he should pivot and just be himself. Some of his videos surprised me how trolly they were. Guy is 100% different in person. Part of the issue I think is that he is a covid collector and keys were king so there was a ton to talk about. I think we are getting back to collectors wanting runs and not just get rich quick schemes.

I have been watching your videos for real info about what's going on in comic market. So my personal interest is less in the entertainment part of comics (although I do like comics/superhero/sci-fi). I would guess your downturn videos get more views because those keeping up with comics as an investment or business are more concerned about potential losses. Thanks for the details on how the KZbin video system works and sometimes doesn't work for people. Having comics channels to watch for the most current information is a great resource so I hope people support your channel as well as many other good ones out there.

You're not the only one, I loved his channel. For him to not want to do it anymore breaks my heart. 80% of the comments in his last video are nothing but running him into the ground such as, you reap what you sow, etc. I believe you would have to be a stalking psychopath to have a hobby, then to visit youtube for that hobby, and then constantly run somebody into the ground when he's making goofy videos. I remember when this all started and it was from the LCS video where he was simply asking questions, and then the roast videos escalated which was really odd, as dragon ink and other KZbinrs at the time had roasted videos prior and got no flak.

He cultivated his audience through his content, and the audience he amassed from there is a product of his own negative output. Sticky Goose is entertaining in his own right, BUT he clearly can't take back what he puts out. Negativity attracts negativity, and he's clearly too sensitive for that environment. Honestly, it's the classic bully mentality. Aggressor until pushed back on, then backs down and runs away. I wouldn't be surprised if him saying he was leaving was just more trolling, and he'll be back later.

Davey....Davey....Simple sweet Davey. It ultimately boils down to this. You are a nice down to earth easy going friendly type of guy. StickyGoose is a Fuggen abrasive douchebag. People don't like him because of this. BTW I made a YT channel years ago. It was prank style on the streets combined with some movie review stuff on the side. I made 15k subs in less than a month. My total ending sub count was about 32k to 35k. The only reason why I stopped was because I became a Father for the first time and wanted to do what Pewdiepie did. So anyways please do not waste your time on SG he's a loser who at least gets the hint finally.

I was watching his videos consistently and I enjoyed some of the contrarian content on the subject of comic collecting... don't recall what video it was... but I quit subscribing to his channel when I realized just how derivative it had become... back and forth between himself and others (who I've also quit). Too many of his and those of others had gone down a self-absorbed rabbit hole. I collect comics... not fabricated interpersonal drama. He shouldn't quit - he has some good perspectives... he should reset and focus on collecting comics.. or the financial aspects... or prices.... or whatever... be an observer with a perspective... and not try to make himself part of the story.

I also told him not to quit he’s already monetized has a following he could switch it up don’t paint your self into a corner you know try out different types of content. If you throw enough shit at the wall eventually something is going to stick to the wall. I find it interesting when you were talking about out your channel when you first started the five up five down I always liked the five down I looked at them as a buy the dip type of information like they are going down might be a good deal if you want to snag a copy while they are down like the eternals sure the movie stunk but the comics are actually not that bad plus Jack kerby art is always fun to look at.
