I think the main counter force to the competitiveness with PSL is going to literally just be the casual nature of skateboarding in general. But maybe I’m wrong! Watching it for the first time from and I got to say I love the idea of having a definitive definition of a point base system and not favouritism. Having team sport is better for skateboarding and represents it not only as an individual sport but a group activity. Love this format it will do well.

The whole idea and concept sounds great Mike! One thing I would say for future team-grouping is there should be a pool of people who submit there name that want to join. Then you find a way to randomize teams so that people who don't usually skate together group up and try and work with there strengths and weaknesses.

I feel like this is kind of tough because those of us who skate enjoy team sports in other ways but it's kind of like the one reason why I loved skateboarding was to be away from that traditional sports aspect and I totally understand the idea and I support it... it's a good idea but I will say it makes me think about the state of skateboarding .. I'd love to see more professional skaters making money also if you could pay them to be in the league this could really revolutionize skateboarding in a different way and that could be good .. I just simply support the idea because it's different and skateboarding needs different right now however I'm just not sure if the traditional sports route is the way however I'm just not sure if the traditional sports route is the way

Good luck man, I think the format is sick. I've never liked the SLS format, obviously they have an insane lineup of skaters but the format isn't my cup of tea, love the idea for a season that leads to playoffs and then you could have your own little super bowl, the skater bowl or something lol. Also, yes I was still watching this as you said there's no way anybody is, don't need tickets but I appreciate how chill you are and how much you seem to really want this thing to be dope for skating, really hope it works out!

Please tell me a "Team" in this new format is for example Girl or Zero or Baker so I can cheer for my favorite "Team" regardless of wich "Roster Players" they send in. It's just not gonna be as cool if teams are made up of 2 random skaters that happen to be friends versus the actual structure I'm hoping for. This way the "League" can grow and have representation that you can cheer for year over year an actually watch your "Team" reach the "playoffs" and send in their heaviest hitters for the "Championship".

F**k yes the idea of TEAM SKATEBOARDING. The game of SKATE is a huge part of skate culture in general. I really think you should open up the game of skate to an entire park instead of just a stair set. Every ROUND the obstacle changes. Round 1 - 3 Block. Round 2 - Quarter Pipe. Round 3 -10 Stair. Etc Teams should strategize on who can hit HANDRAILS or VERT. Allows everyone to show off their best tricks or creativity. Visit local skateparks across the US and host the PSL in the communities who would watching already. FDR. Venice Skatepark. Lauridsen Skatepark. Those parks deserve recognition Great idea keep it up Mike.

Just came from watching the first event and I found it super fun . I love the basic concept mixed with high level skill . It's not so serious and you get to have fun with the homies but you're still doing gnarly ass tricks . I do think you should find a way to speed it up or make the matches a bit shorter because 2 hrs is alot of time lol for the skaters for the audience and the viewers but overall I believe you got something going on here and maybe in the future you could add a hubba or rail or pyramid or a grass gap and defence should have a bigger margin for error .Overall good job
