Yeah red oak i believe. I know its oak tho. We did cut a pin oak awhile back but i think thats red

No maybe that was the pin oak now i look better

@@jeremythomas9134 It looked like red oak to me also. I could tell by the bark. And the redness of the heartwood.

@@nicholasblohowiak29 yea hes got a bunch of oak there. Coulda been both actually but the bark on that one peice definitely looked like red oak i agree with ya. Thats my buddies saw. Done a bit of work to it mainly mufffler i believe. He likes that little saw

Lmao!! I just gave it a good muffler mod i believe. I may have advanced the timing also. And of course a good hand file. Hahahaa

I am beginning to think the only two reasons that done well at Sawfest was strong saws combined with sharp chains!
