I was looking for a lightweight blower for my deck. kzbin.infoUgkxgioZQl3J5wPGAeDINzbieKbT5qomSEx3 There are some huge trees around my house and the leaves and pods drop all over my deck. Having to move furniture around to sweep has become too big a chore. This blower was the answer. It is light enough for this 70yr old lady and powerful enough to blow all the tree droppings off my rather large deck. Thank you B&D. Be aware the cord is not included. I use a 3 prong outdoor cord 25' cord for my 12' x 20' deck. The cord retainer works very well, but don't try to pass the plug through it. That is NOT how it works. You just have to loop the cord and it works great. One of my best purchases. Very happy.

I bought one for my fathers place in Ireland. Great tool. Wet leaves...piles of wet old leaves. Gone! I think the spec is 209mph.....good on fuel to. A must have for bigger property and especially leaves , leaves wet on long grass...this tool delivers...and maintained last forever.

Love my Magnum but it is so hard to start. It won't let pull rope pull out but about 8-10 inches and it stops abruptly over and over. Too much compression??? Very hard recoil. Is there a truck to get it not to stop the rope. Any electric starts. I need the power it has but can't get it started . Could the rope be bound up causing it to stop abruptly?r

I’ve just got one brand new in the box and after assembling tried it out. It seems to lack power. The high /low carburettor screws are hex nuts, not the normal cross heads and they don’t provide the hex headed spanner to adjust these. It does say in instructions that some of these models are factory set and requirements no adjustment but if that’s the case the adjustment marks on the orange casing won’t be present. On the item I have the marks are present but you can’t adjust the hex screws. I’m confused

This is not a reliable blower. We used to buy a lot of blowers for cleaning snow from rail switches. After about 100 hours of operation the crankshaft bearings will fail and the muffler will crack around the bottom bolt. Stihl will not sell crankshaft bearings and seals to allow repair. They will only sell the complete crankshaft, gear,seal,bearing and piston assembly which costs more than half the cost of the blower. The Echo is a more reliable choice. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this blower.

I have both the 600 and the 800c, if you are doing leaves the 800 will flat out walk away from the 600. But as a daily driver for the rest of the year their is no perceivable difference imo.. Only when you are confronted with the need for more brute force does the 800 really shine..

My dad had trouble with several Echo blowers over the years. He would buy a new one every couple of years and use the old ones for parts. Seems like the piston rings always wore out prematurely.

TED Schmitt maybe he need to check the fuel mix ratio. I have an echo pb500 is a 2004 model original plug and runs like a champ, i know a need to change the spark plug soon 😅

TED Schmitt definitely this stihl br600 has more power and a little lighter, I have one as well, the echo starts and runs flawlessly and mine is the pb500T and love the throttle on the left hand. I can unhook the tubes and it saves roon in storage whereas the one with throttle mounted on tube you can't just unhook them because the wires for the on and off switch goes to the handle
