Just got an 800C and love it too. You really don't have to jerk the side start, just slowly pull it because it winds up and then releases. I also like the waist strap AND the chest strap, together they help distribute the weight better.

The new Echo PB-8010 is WAY more powerful and a true 2 cycle engine.....no "4 mix" BS to deal with

It is also WAY louder and dealers, in my area anyway, are non existent. What is wrong with the 4 mix? Let me guess OMG you need to adjust the valves every once in a blue moon.....takes only a few minutes, non-issue.
