In this video I'll be demonstrating an alternate method for repairing or replacing your Oiler, Bearing cage and or Clutch Assembly. Alternative to the spark plug approach. No special tool or rope needed. The kit used is indicated for use in many of the MS models as well as others. Check the link below to verify if its right for you or to search further if needed. The chainsaw in this video is a STIHL MS180C and demonstration will apply to many of the MS and other models. I truly believe just about anyone can do this if you take a few minutes to familiarize yourself by watching this video demonstration. I was doing this due to the bearing failing from age and use and what I would consider normal ware and tare. I also discovered the springs on the clutch were a bit sloppy compared to a new part. Hope you find this helpful. The link for the kit I used is below. I found it to be as close to an exact replacement as you'd expect minus the STIHL branding stamped on it. So far so good. Thanks for watching.
