A+ as always! @JOHNS CUSTOM SAWS I wanted to say thanks, not just for all the raw info/data/techniques I've learned from you but also "for being you", by that I mean I just LOVE your positive nature, your curiosity & eagerness to go testing your curiosities/intuitions (c'mon I'll be 100:1 you didn't have REAL worries that that way over-ported nitrous jug - run w/o nitrous - I know it was surprising just how well it went but I knew it'd run OK at minimum seeing those #'s and that means you more-than saw it too!) Oh on that note, I can't be the only one who's still eager to see you make a video going over the concept/trick you'd mentioned wherein one can look at a piston & cylinder, the ports, and immediately konw things about it - even go porting w/o a wheel or anything, and obviously this would be 'theory/do not attempt' content but IMO there'd be SO much learned by anyone watching such a vid!! Thanks as always, am gonna go make a 'real' clutch cover (660) after finding >2k people clicked my last, 10sec clip "overviewing" how to make the OEM clutch covers flow >10% more chips, w/ minimal effort/work!

Good info as always John. Question tho, can the captive bar nuts be removed?? I bought a full wrap kit for the MS400 and it comes with a larger side cover but no nuts

I have an older O36Pro ( it still has the quick open fuel and bar oil caps) and I'd like to put some more aggressive felling spikes on it. Is there any option available for this model saw? I've seen the felling spikes for MS362 saws. But nothing for my older saw. Awesome videos by the way. You do some pretty work Sir.

You really make those covers look trick.One mod I want to do to covers on some of my saws is to widen the back to increase room to expel chips.I watch a lot of video's and I see chips clumping up and stalling in the cover instead of a steady stream of chips.

Question on the dawgs, so the covers all interchange, kind of, will 362 dawgs fit a 462 ? I have the wcs dawgs on my 462, love them but I wouldn't mind if they were about half their size for my applications. Don't have a lot of heavy bark in my ao. The set for the 362 looks about right to me.

I put a 362 style cover on a 462 and tightened down with a bar, it works perfectly fine.

What would it take to put a clutch cover off say a 460, onto a 462?

I put a 460 cover on Jacob Roger's 261 and I believe I just had to grind and reshape the dust cover (black piece over chain brake band)... he wanted a bigger cover and it worked good

I put a 462/500i cover on it but I had to put modify it and swap the bar studs

My 400 cover fits on my 261 but they have different rubber deflectors too.
