Would you still recommend this today? I've got a lot of Makita 40v XGT stuff that I really like but I'm tempted by the HLA 66 for the weight and balance mainly.

There's a few features I like the extra bit of plastic to protect the battery and the battery is in the middle for better ballance, but it has no handle so you can't lock it up ant the trigger is awful.. give me a 65 anyday

I know I wish they'd stop putting these rubbish trigger on them. it can make it hard to like the tools.

My 65 is overheating form time to time. Is it common?

I've not have it happen to me but the machine can be a bit sensitive. I'd recommend keeping the blades a clean as possible when cutting. Uses oil or just water to lubricant to stop the build up on the blades. It's also with check the gearbox is not over greased.

@@MrGardener18 what may happened when it’s over greased? It there a possibility to “burn” something? Engine or any other electric part?
