I’m really intrigued by the rotary cutting head. I don’t own one yet because I just can’t get over the price. Really wish Stihl would help us out with that one. Great video, thanks for sharing!

For most applications I would agree. There is a bit more weight, but losing the tether is a good thing.

Good video!! What's your thoughts between the electric and a 131r?? Also would it not be easier with a mulching blade on !! Your thoughts??

The mulching blade is awesome, but here in the US it is not sold by Stihl so I didn’t want to shoot a video of it in use on a brand new factory machine. I would have no hesitation in replacing a 131r with this unit as long as I have the run time I need.

@@Carlsmower hi again!! I believe stihl calls them a shredder blade !!! Would be nice to see a video of you using one!! Of course you have to attach the bigger guard !!! Down side !!! Lol

Balance was great! The weight with a AP300 is about 1.4lbs more when compared to KM111R with a full tank of fuel.

And how much are you ou saving over the course of a couple years? Fuel, oil, spark plugs etc etc.. plus you have to think about user comfort.. no emissions, very low vibration and noise.

I hope it better then the last battery 130r. it was rubbish / Bad designs on the trigger and the battery s dont work in the cold of the UK. Also STIHL are not very good at sending replace meant parts under warranty to stihl dealerships. Dont think i would by any more STIHL Battery TOOLS .SORRY FOR MY HONESTLY .
