The teeth on a chain for a 14” bar would dull too quickly with that power. There’s a sweet spot for bar length as the power goes up. These big saws are unreal.

After a hard pull like that, let the saw idle for about 20 seconds to let all the internals cool off. May make it last longer especially being a big bore saw like that.

professional loggers know 2 things he did wrong. Dropping your left hand means anti kick back doesn't work. No ear protection. He is sawing too far away from the leverage spikes on the saw.

I’m a professional logger and his first mistake was using the saw. We have heavy equipment we operate these days lol the days of chasing wood with hand saws are over and long gone. Now back in the day a woods crew of course was needed and you’d have 15 guys or so running saws hand saws doing all the work but these days heavy equipment does all the labor. Saws this big are not needed and for basic home use a average size saw will do anything you need it to

Kickback on a 48" bar, seriously, only a bot would say that. As for the no ear protection I'd say you need to grow a set but your a bot. The 'leverage spikes' are called saw dogs but if you weren't a bot you'd know that, and you say he did 2 things wrong but list three, typical bot behaviour. I'd say to stop keyboard warrioring and get out of your mommies basement, if you weren't a KZbin bot.
