Please find out more about the sprayer for us. Does it agitate the spray solutions so they remain well mixed or do we blend them up ourselves? Is it easy to fill? If we "dribble" spray solution down the side will it get in the battery compartment? How do you clean it? Thank you ahead of time!

Looks fantastic mate & well demoed 🙌🏽. I think your definitely right though for that price point to not come with a waste belt is very cheeky considering the weight when full.

@@TheFullyChargedGardener - Oi! I'm looking for a new solid sprayer and hesitating between a few brands like Kwazar etc. Any idea how far the Stihl can spray? For application of anti mos ... . Thanks.

Looks well made. Am I right in thinking you need another ticket other than pa1 and pa6 to use a battery run unit? Been so long since I did mine I can't remember?
@TheFullyChargedGardener3 жыл бұрын
As it is a sprayer that you wear and is not air assisted - It’s just a battery powered pump, you are covered by PA6. At least that is my understanding.

😂 😂 The first part. Didn't know you could speak klingon! Expensive but good to use with no hand pump. Agree belt should be included

It also needs a wheeled attachment for rolling it around instead of carrying it.

The padding on the shoulder straps is very comfortable. The las CP sprayer I had - the straps were awful! Cheers for watching chap 👍

@@TheFullyChargedGardener I agree the coopers used to be terrible but they have improved slightly. The originals had rubber pieces as padding but there is decent padding now.

I wish they would paint the measurement numbers on the tank. White on white is impossible to read. I've got the SG71 and have used a permanent marker pen on the raised numbers. I agree about including the straps, just like the backpack blowers, I had to purchase an extra chest strap. Love the brand, but come on!

I recently invested in a backpack sprayer (one with a pump side lever - so no motor) and was strongly encouraged by the salesman (at a supplier that sells a wide range of Stihl kit here in Belgium) to AVOID the Stihl equivalent (SG 71) of what I ended up buying, which was a Birchmeier Senior 20 liter. The sales guy said that whilst the straps on the Stihl were probably more comfortable, the internal parts were not good quality at all and they had big problems with customers returning them for refunds after breaking down... He recommended the Birchmeier as way better build quality. I'd be interested to see how you get on with this Stihl after a year or so of putting it through its paces. Perhaps the battery models are more robustly built?

Thank you for your comment - Very interesting to hear. This looks and feels to be a well built unit 👍

OK if you're looking for a new sprayer but if you already have some pro sprayers like Cooper Pegler (which will last many years) and do 1 hr of spraying here or there then I wonder is this a tool or gadget ? that said Strap looks decent and the electric pump would make washing out will be a lot easier

500 sovs ? C'mon Stihl, for that sort of molah, all attachments should be included. I have also read reviews about their pump backpack sprayers being unreliable. Hope this one isn't.
