I've had that type of thing too. When the virus took off, I was chatting to a friend on whatsapp about respirator masks because I wear them at work. I remember seeing a mate of mine chopping wood with sandals on (the silly twat) but missed with his swing... It split his big toe into two halves down the middle, like how you'd peel a banana. He would definitely agree with your suggestion.

hotsaw for triple points is not fun. It should be equal to the other events. Maybe implement another comeback event instead. One that is less coin flippy and based on multiple lumberjack skills.

Great Competition! Watching this forum for a legitimate interest in Forest Conservation, Preservation, Sustenance. Would hate to see myself in the red with such a sport! As a novice fan I have 2 questions. First, when it comes to the axe events, can you on the last hit, use the flat/hammer side of the axe to knock the piece free? Second, are there rules concerning how powerful your chainsaw is (or other parameters with it) on the last event? That said, I should mention that those are the biggest, most hot-rod, least practical chain saws I have ever seen in my life...... .
