Do you realize how awful of a person it would make Stiles for him to be with Malia while still harboring feelings for Lydia? It would make him a first class asshole and that's not Stiles. Malia and Stiles had a very serious, loving relationship and were totally committed to her. While he was with Malia, he was with Malia. He was not bidding his time until Lydia was ready for him. The way the show disrespected the relationship between Stiles and Malia was disgusting. They didn't need to diminish Stiles and Malia's unique connection that was solely theirs to prop up Stydia for endgame. It's weak writing and again, makes Stiles look like an inconsiderate jerk.

She was a bit jealous at first. When they was in the Jeep going to find Derek and Malia said "I would never leave you", Stiles looks at Lydia and the look on Lydia's face and her reaction is a bit of jealousy. She does progress a lot with Malia and when Stiles "disappears" actually takes over doing a lot of things Stiles normally does, mainly the reactions to Malia saying "I could've beaten him up, but I didn't" and Lydia says "well that's progress", exactly what Stiles used to say a lot about Malia lol

it shows that they loved each other so much without Ever confessing their love for long time cuz lydia was scared to tell him ,or wanted him to tell her since she knew he was into her. then saw him with malia, she thought he moved on. no wonder she cared so much, cuz she loved him. cuz is the feeling of true love💕,that she never felt with anybody else. she loved him all this time , I'm glad she felt the pain, cuz it was kinda her turn to know what is like to lose someone u loved so long and didn't say it when she got chance to, cuz she was to afraid to admit to him, maybe it was time that was right even though the love each other. now is life knows is right time now.

Actually I say the main lead is Stiles and Lydia. Because the entire series is nothing but Lydia forsees a puzzle and Stiles figures it out and finds what they are dealing with and comes up with a plan, and Scott provides an ultimate strength to that plan.

I feel like she has liked him also from the 3rd grade she just didn't want to admit it and tried to bury her feelings by being with Jackson and then pretend to not be smart and be popular because if people found out she was a genius she would be judged and labeled as a "nerd". So when Jackson moved to London and Lydia started to hang out with the others, those feelings for Stiles came back but she was too scared to believe it so she slept around (That guy in season 3 with the leather jacket and tattoos and Aiden and her kind of had a thing). Then when Stiles said that he loved her in season 6 she realized that she loved him back. Lydia even said and i quote "I think i loved him." And "I didn't say it back". Okay i'm going way too into depth with this. I'm sorry. I hope this made sense. :)

I'd like to hope that was true. Stiles had the biggest involvement in breaking down those walls, little by little he coaxed out of her all the good qualities she felt she had to hide in order to be popular, he was the only one to see it. The little smiles Lydia got because of Stiles in S2 were just perfect and don't forget the foreshadowing by Peter in 2x11 where he says "The simple, yet undeniable power of human love", then it cuts to Lydia smiling with strong emotions then Stiles seeing that and smiling bigger, the in 2x12 when he tells her he got her a bunch of stuff for her birthday as he didn't know what to get her and she had an uncontrollable smile because she'd never known unconditional kindness like that

I knew in season 3B that Lydia is in love with Stiles💗because she was protective over him more than ever during that part of the show!and the way she screamed by feeling his pain(from miles)in 3x18!when Stiles begin dating Malia,while so many try to be blind about it,but I saw in S4 that Lydia doesn't like Malia that much!not the way she was close to Allison or even Kira!and doesn't feel comfortable when Stiles and Malia are romancing!even though she became softer about her in S5 but the second she and Stiles broke up,Lydia again started to act like a kitty around Stiles!and even before he and Malia break up,Lydia always showed how much she feels safe by having Stiles and even knew something about him is not right!something even Scott couldn't see in 5A or neither Malia!and after Stiles and Maila break up,she indirectly tried to keep them apart in 5x19(even though I think that was too insidious of Lydia😂)but I can get why Lydia was this way about Stiles for such a long time!even if I'm not agreeing with!because even in S2 she said,what she doesn't know what to name her feelings for Jackson,but it's definitely not like what Allison feels about Scott!
