It’s a beautiful little painting. I love the expressive brushstrokes. Painting in this loose sort of way is, in a sense, more difficult than painting realism, in my opinion. It takes confidence. For me, I had to learn to paint “tight” before I was able to start painting with bold and loose strokes. It’s harder than it looks.
