Primarily it is 'about' patterns in movement and music and how the two interact. Beyond that, audiences might bring in their own prior knowledge and experiences to 'make-sense' of what they see in layered ways. For example, given that this version was created during Covid lockdowns, the dancers could be seen as being trapped in repeated actions, in their own 'little boxes' but there is a playfulness that emanates joy through the 'little things'; although each dancer is alone, their shared actions creates a sense of community. What does the dance suggest to you?
