Fire!🔥 Your content has been through the roof lately!!
Great video Rushie! How about another video on double under crossovers?! I know you've done a couple in the past but as a beginner trying to get these it would be very useful to see things like: a) the right progression (I can get one out by basically curling up into a ball but where do I go from here?), b) how proficient should you aim to be at both double under and crossovers separately before even attempting the double under crossover? Thanks!

+Inquisitive Precursor defo going to create this. It’s on the list as I know people can fall into traps with it. I’ve got some cool new tips with it! But for sure.. always best to get your timing on double down first. Il get onto this ASAP! Thanks 🙏🏽

Got the legacy heavy rope a week ago. You definitely work harder propelling the rope. It's a great change of pace from the money speed rope. I'm still getting use to it.

I’m late to this video but I have two questions. Any pointers will be greatly appreciated! :-) 1) I’m just starting to be able to execute multiple double unders (about 5-7). I recall a video you did before suggesting that I should whip the rope once and let the second rotation be carry the momentum from the initial whip. I found out though that when I do my double unders I do better when I do the initial rotation normally and then whip through the second one. Is that wrong? 2) this has nothing to do with double unders, but more on regular jumping. I am jumping with heavy ropes and can go for long time without tripping, but when I switch to regular ropes I trip very often (around 10-20 rotations and I’ll trip). Is it because I have to more actively rotate the rope? I actually find the heavy rope easier to rotate because it kind of propels itself, but I want to transition to a lighter rope to begin learning tricks. Thanks a bunch!

I was averaging 2-4 double unders then out of the blue I suddenly did about 30? I’ve realised they’re easier to practice at the start of the session before your shoulders are tired. I just need that consistency!! 👍

Mate, the sound of that freaking legacy rope cutting through the air sounds like a Blackhawk helicopter about to arrive and destroy some baaad shit!!! And I can't wait to get that rope so that I can get in a mindframe to destroy a routine like urs, you've outdone yourself with this rope bro, a suggestion for the next legacy color, can u make a black and yellow one, kind of the same pattern as a beated rope, with one handle black and the other yellow and call it "the Blackhawk" edition, I think that would be epic!! Peace out!! ✌️

Quick question, may have been asked a lot but how durable is the money rope?
@RushAthleticsTV6 жыл бұрын
+Kat Bilg hey! I guess with speed ropes, there’s always the snag people feel like they might wear but in honest truth I’ve never snapped any of my ropes. I’m making a video on rope care soon! A lot of it comes down to how you use it and of course the surfaces 🙏🏽
@Natlopeee6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the info. I'm using a super cheap pvc that I've used for over 2 years with super super intense rope workouts that lasts around 30-45 min 5 days a week and still has yet to snap on a hard surface. I'm going to buy the money rope regardless to support you, you deserve so much man and need more recognition. People ask me daily how I've learned these techniques and I automatically tell them to look you up. Much love from Canada!

Am still trying to get your ropes but does it matter what kind of rope you have to help loose fat
@RushAthleticsTV6 жыл бұрын
+lemar 14 hey mate! the heavy rope will help you torch fat fast! but you have to be able to use it intensively for a longer period of time. With the speed rope, moves such as double unders or squat jumps will be the best to utilise. So it really depends on what moves you use as well. Hope that helps pal🙏🏽

HD EDITS hey bro! The heavy duty mat is required for the legacy rope! Our rush mat was designed and tested with the speed rope so we don’t recommend using heavy ropes with it as it’ll just get chewed up by the power of them. 🙏🏽

My opinion: Double Unders are very bad for your knee
@RushAthleticsTV6 жыл бұрын
Mani Matter interesting mate.. since skipping my knees have never been stronger. Double unders have helped me strengthen my joints. Have you experienced pain in your knees with doubles?
@uno38636 жыл бұрын
Mani Matter you should skip with knee pads mate, get the skateboarder /jump rope look 👍
@DodjiSeketeli6 жыл бұрын
True *if* your technique is bad. Like if you are hitting the ground with your heels, or flexing your knees too much on your way up. All that will maximise the impact on the ground and drive the chock wave directly to your knees. But if the technique is good, if you stay on the balls of your feet you actually protect your knees by better activating the muscles of your feet, ankles and calves. If done correctly, DU are such a great exercise with so many benefits, I don't even know where to start to list them ;)
@gunshot9116 жыл бұрын
False. I mean, I have a minescus tear that doesnt let me do stuff to the fullest, running, lunges, squats and stuff hurt like a mother yet I do double unders, cross over sprints and all the other stuff(except squat jumps.. my knee cries) so yeah. False.
