I miss the 50s /60s when the Beaver first came out it was such a great show and I still watch it today, to bad leave it to beaver is not on today with a new series, even though many of them have pass their still a few left and maybe just maybe the show could make a difference in today’s family values.

Many people do, including me, but it never happened and hasn't been in TV reruns for 30 years due to a quagmire of legal issues that are still unresolved and no one cares enough to spend the money to sort them out for a DVD market that has been dramatically declining for many years. That's why I spent two years dredging up my Betamax copies of every episode of the series to post here on my KZbin channel

Mary Ellen should have known better than to let Rebecca join the party in the first place. If she wasn't that thoughtful she should have at least noticed immediately how Rebecca was ruining the party and how Kelly was getting more and more miserable as time went by. All that would have made it evident to the average individual that the party was going to reach such the climax that it did. Indeed this mother didn't seem too awake in this episode!

What did the Beaver and Mary Ellen do for a living? I know Wally was an attorney, and Eddie owned a construction company.

Many episodes about what Beaver does for a living, first working with Lumpy for Lumpy's dad, and then Lumpy and Beaver starting their own business doing same thing (never specifically stated what it is - as with Ward Cleaver - but frequent mentions in many episodes about their clients and even one episode wooing a Japanese client who dates June. Mary Ellen a stay-at-home mom till last season when she takes a job at Mayfield Gazette as newspaper columnist
