Nearly 30k kms on my i20n and i recommend going to the dealership and ask for ecu update. The ecu update fixed the rev hangs. And i must say, it feels like a different car after the ecu update.

Expecting mine in November. Reckon the dealer will install the update on new cars without asking for it?

The 120n costs ten thousand less than it's bigger brother and will use less fuel these are some big factors to think about.

Coming from a Type R FK8 which I had for 3.5 years, you don't really need all that power and size in a city. Really great car

It's from almost $35,000 plus on road costs, not $32,000. The base i30N manual costs $13,500 more on the road. I've clocked up almost 10,000km in mine and have found no problems with the build quality apart from the headlight settings which I ended up adjusting myself. The fit and finish is first class. Hyundai are in charge of the quality control in the factory which is reflected in the vehicles. Considering the drivetrain, suspension and brakes fitted, along with all the latest electronics, it's great value, exciting to drive, practical and surprisingly frugal on fuel. 6.6L/100km average calculated for mine.

So you could you daily drive the 120n ?
@keng40668 ай бұрын
It is my daily driver, not that I drive every day. It replaced my much loved 2012 Skoda Yeti[103TDI DSG 4x4] in March of 2023. I also have a 2018 370Z which is a great drive but not that practical for carrying things. I could take either car most of the time but usually take the i20N and that says a lot in its favour. As far as the build quality comments from the other poster, you could see in the video the quality of the shut lines, interior and paint.

@@ljp1942 Mine took almost a year and I almost cancelled the sale when it arrived because I was so fed up with the waiting and the crap dealer. If you've only got about 2,000km on the clock think about having the engine oil changed instead of leaving it until the 10,000km service. It always used to be important and almost certainly still is. Mine used 400ml of oil up to 2,000km but not a drop since.

Great car...when it is working. Mine is stranded with a dead fuel pump. We're having an epidemic of i20N fuel pump failures in Australia which has left myself and an ever growing number of other i20N owners with no car and currently no idea when they will be fixed. Head on over to Hyundai i20N owners club Australia to see for yourself
