I know some folks like to not use cases, but an inexpensive Spigen case can protect the glass, as I'm sure you're aware. I have a 14 Pro Max. It's a wonderful device that will last me for years. The only drawback is the weight. I like the larger screen as my eyes aren't as good as they used to be and I have large hands. Face ID has been flawless and I don't miss touch ID at all. This was a good vid!

Great video and music! I’m in the same boat as you - I’ve got an iPhone 6s+ (with same symptoms as yours) and researching the iPhone 12. Accordingly, your video has me convinced to go with the 12! I can’t wait to get it. Thanks 😊

Glad to be of service! Thank you for checking out the video. I really enjoy the phone, breath of a fresh air after 6s+. The only thing I'd say now having used it for some time - if you have money, go for a Pro model. That 3rd Telephoto camera is really handy at times, and a bit faster night time autofocus plus RAW photos (but with Apple's processing) are actually worth some $50-80 more. And if you're rolling in cash, go for 13 Pro, because they've added Macro photography and it can be really cool to play around. Otherwise, iPhone 12 is still rock solid, and Apple just added (finally) Qi2 15W wireless charging capability to it as well, so it's got basically most of the new iPhone/iOS features that anyone might want.

how's the battery? can you still recommend it for 2-3 years of usage?
@Frytech5 ай бұрын
@@jhipex I can chime in about that. My 12 still has 86% of battery and it’s pretty solid unless I literally use it nonstop without turning off screen for hours basically. Then it doesn’t survive till the end of the day. If you use it moderately, with, let’s say, like 30mins using Camera app, 1-2 hours of various social media like Insta or Twi or TT, 1-2 hours of music/podcast listening, 30min-1h of talking via FaceTime Audio or WhatsApp, maybe an occasional other app here and there - you’ll get basically a full day battery life, even on my already somewhat degraded battery. And yeah, it should still be good for another couple years. But, now having used the phone quite a bit more I’d definitely recommend, if you have just a bit more money to spend, to go for Pro model, at least if you’re in any way interested in Photo/Video. That longer Telephoto camera of Pro models can be really handy and I do miss not having it quite a lot when I want to capture something at a distance, which happens surprisingly often in my case (but that might be just me). Otherwise, just try to buy as much storage as you can, my 128 is definitely not enough for me, as 4K video files on the phone are quite big. Also, like I’ve mentioned in the video, make sure to check not only iPhone 12 or 12 Pro, but also 13 (and 13 Pro). Sometimes I’ve seen very small price difference between them, like $30-50, and if you see such small delta - you should go with 13/13 Pro. Hope it helps

@@Frytech thanks for this, I'm now aiming for the 13 hopefully I get mine by the end of the month
@Frytech5 ай бұрын
@jhipex Always welcome! Once again, just to reiterate, I’d suggest anyone to first look at 12 Pro model before going to 13, and the same with 13 Pro vs regular 14, as Pro model generally will give you more features than just going one model year newer. But if you already carefully considered that choice - that’s awesome, you’ll have a nice experience in any case!

just got it a few days ago, and its worth it, a casual user, with an our or two games a day, social media, watching animes and movies, its worth it and it still has apple updates until 2026, so will be using it for 2 years or 3, camera is good, can run all games that i want
@Frytech6 ай бұрын
Yep, that’s the strongest part of Apple’s ecosystem - support for “older” devices is generally pretty good. Air quotes, cause iPhone 12 is not old at all in 2024, in my view. Except for Macs recently, because Apple has accelerated their deprecation recently, but I might make a separate video about it. Appreciate you commenting on my video though. Thank you🙏🏻

Answering your question though: I guess it’s just watching lots of YT videos and trying to sound like an average US speaker. Which, granted, I am not yet successful at, yet, but it’s still improved my pronunciation quite a bit :)

Im on a budget. Im confused between iphone 13 and `12. My needs are good camera, battery life, longevity (i plan to use it for 5 years) and performance. I dont play games but browse a bit for official use.If i choose 12 in 2024 how many years i get updates from Apple?
@Frytech6 ай бұрын
Most likely, if you chose 12, you will get at least another 2-3 years of the latest updates from Apple, and probably another 2 of security updates. If you can go newer (if the phones cost about the same) - you should. Or if you’re ok with using not the very latest iOS version / don’t plan to resell that phone.

bro should try android ... ur mind will be blown away lol
@Frytech6 ай бұрын
Hah, nah it won’t. Simply because of the atrocious policies of selling your data/apps asking for WAY too many permissions (I’ve used Android before, don’t worry :), plus no easy way to backup and then restore your whole system. But I’m genuinely curious why would you say so? I’ve mentioned really good camera with night mode, good mics, speakers, all for $400 used. Plus, I’m on the latest iOS and will have all the latest cool features at least for the next 3-5 years. Which Android phone will give me that? Again, genuinely curious, so I’d appreciate your answer.
