Excellent video. You did a clear tutorial and showed how to get a lot of use from this avatar resource.

Your video are very informative and address important issues nobody mentions anywhere else and they are very much appreciate David. I was having same problems in illustrator and found that I had the wrong setup in the SVG export settings, 👍

Were you using Inkscape? If so it's likely it's a problem with Inkscape not always naming folders etc. as they appear in Inkscape. I made a video about the issue on my channel.

another question is it alright to use avatar to make animation in youtube? will i get copyright strike from it?
@animlife Жыл бұрын
@@HeinleinShinobuYou shouldn't get a copyright strike for using these avatars on KZbin since the Avatar Maker site itself encourages their use on all your social media, blogs, profiles etc. I just wouldn't use them in commercial projects without clearing it with the site's creators first. In terms of whether raster or vector is better for Character rigging, generally vector is better since it will always retain sharp edges when you zoom in. However if you want to make characters with complex shading or even with more of an arty, or photographic style then raster is the better option. Vector is better for flat color and minimal gradient shading.
