Long time listener, first time caller ;D' cud U throw ur thpughts on Lanyon, in a way ...im going thru his trilogy...im on third part and had to stop for a while, in a way he is an upgrade or different point of view to Goddard, on the other hand quite contradicting as to summarize, he says just to keep off, not really seeing mind as operaring power, rather an unnecessary resistance to a greater plan (I). Not expecting him to go along Goddard line, but after 2 books i have a feelin he is contradicting himself way more then Goddard. If U fancy. Either way thx for Ur work, hope givin lifesavin staff. Dating is like sales and I never go for the person that's trying to sell me something 😂 Actually I was like this also when I really liked someone and couldn't wait for them to ask me out and then kept trying to get their attention. It was pretty pathetic ngl. I didn't realize how off-putting it was until I was on the receiving end of this and there were men that really really liked me and would send me gifts I didn't ask for and text me 10 times in a row and even if I was being completely unreasonable and starting fights for no good reason they'd still agree with anything I said. I absolutely hated it. It still annoys me greatly. I'd rather a guy were unsure about me for the first 5 years than obsessed with me from day 1.

My friend told me yesterday that I had the busiest social calendar from all of us and I was in denial like "No I don't like socializing that much, once in a while is OK, like a few times a month." She was like "Yeah that's the weird thing, you're always being invited out everywhere and you don't even like going out but then whenever I call you you're in another city or there's tons of people in the background and I can't even hear you." She told me she really wants to go to all these places but no one ever invites her and some stuff you have to do in groups (I invite her when I can but most of the time I can't bring anyone else). I just found it funny coz I usually don't wanna go to a lot of these things and then people I barely know are begging me to come and then there's people like my friend who's an extreme extrovert and she really wants that kinda thing yet never gets invited.

You may be giving attention to not wanting to be in social settings, and your friend that she's not in social settings nearly enough, and feeling left out. The result affirms the throught. You might send gratitude to the times you were able to get out of a social thing easily and ended up with reading abook and cat on your lap. The friend could send more gratitiude to the times she was kindly included in nice gettogethers, and actively being OK missing out on some parties, and me-time also has value to her.

Did you read a previous comment from me coz that's exactly what I do btw😋 Or I feel like I should want to socialize more but I'm happiest alone which is very weird right? Or like I should want the standard doting husband but it suffocates me and I just wanna be free so I only go for people that can't fully commit, which is a very bad idea, so then I decided to just be single 🫠
