Stillwater on the Fraser

Well it seems freshet has peaked and it's on it's way down a month early. I'll ply the currents when there's a good wind but on still days I opt for the calmer backwaters. The cottonwood is almost done spreading it's billows and a lot of it gets suspended on the surface of the water held in place in a slow dance a balance between the breeze and the currents.
