He is not arrogant and he loves his second wife very much. Although trudie doesn’t deserve anything she has now. You see he fell in love with trudie from first sight. It wasn’t his fault. Love just happens. He tried to stop it but he couldn’t. And also he loves his kids and the humans. He has done a lot of charity work. And he is really modest. You should read his book he doesn’t consider himself better than anybody. And also he feels really bad for frances. You can feel that from the way he wrote about their separation. He felt really guilty. But as i said you can’t stop love. He is an amazing preson that cares a lot about others and about his family. Before writing this kind of comments you should at least get to know the person you write about better. And also he never fully recovered after his parents death. He has been really depressed.

Read Stings autobiography , every girlfriend was allegedly more beautiful than the one before and apart from one he left them all ! Then he left Frances pregnant with their second child for Trudie who also got pregnant very quickly ? He hasn't moved on from Trudie but if he's been faithful is another story . He seems to move on from situations easily even the bands he played in and the other band members ‼️

Hit the nail on the head! As I understand it, when the Cats away the mouse will play… he may always go home to Trudie! But trust me I’m sure he’s entertaining a lot of ladies whenever he gets the opportunity. Lately from the look of his face, it’s pretty evident he can’t deal with Trudie anymore. I have a hunch she’s a piece of work and she did get pregnant asap to trap him. I think he was physically attracted to her! But I don’t think he intended to stay with her or leave Frances for her. My guess is Frances found out the affair and probably told him to go **** himself.

I love Sting as an artist.......what he did may have been wrong but that does not overshadow him as an artist...if he were a regular guy not in the spotlight no one would care.....messed up as it is ...these things happen all the time in the real world...unfortunate but true.......I love Sting, that's it for me!

Apparently Frances is now talking to Trudy again. They are not friends or anything but they do have children by the same man so maybe the passing of time can do that.Personally I think Trudy is a troll of the highest order and she is kidding herself if she imagines Sting is faithful.

So what if Sting lives the lifestyle that he's able to afford? We'd all do the same. That doesn't automatically mean that he can't support environmental/humanitarian ventures; I'd rather that he did than not because at least that way, he's using his power for something good. He's put and given a lot into said ventures. Frankly, I couldn't give a toss about his love life but I'll say this for him; the people he's chosen prove he isn't shallow.

I thought she left Sting and broke the man's heart -- which is why he wrote 'I'm so happy I can't stop crying'. Where does all that emotion come from after 12 years, if he was an ass to her? I don't get some artists...Give me the heartbroken artists who can only create when they're depressed.

according to what i read Sting and Trudie fell in love, Trudie was a neighbor and friends with Frances Tomelty. And Sting and Trudie had a fling, and HE fell in Love with her, they said they could not HELP themselves, WHO understands LOVE, sometimes LOVE is selfish, it could be heartbreaking, LOVE, is a force that only the two LOVERS understand about each other. It is unfortunate for Frances, but STING LOVES and LIKES Trudie better.

Yes he was effing TS, his neighbour and a friend of France’s. After she supported him for years and bore him two children, TS swooped in (from next door) and reaped the rewards. They bought a big castle in the south of the Uk and TS insisted on putting in a man-made lake. When Sting pointed out that this might be impractical TS said “We have the money for it” (paraphrased but this info comes from his biography).

nice pictures - photos of frances and sting are very rare, unfortunately. i think they looked great together. i agree with agnes' comment and it's a shame how the marriage ended. but then, time and fame change people (this is not meant as a complaint, just pure fact) so i guess it's very likely that the star and their supportive partner don't match anymore.

@whitewolf-I agree that Francis and Sting looked great together. However Sting had a 'machismo' streak and had many encounters with other women. The same is said about Trudie-even when they partnered and lived together Sting had a roving eye . Shame he divorced Frances. I dislike Trudie and find her vacuous and plain looking.

mysticmeg111 I know cheating happens sometimes in some marriages....what is bad about this particular case is that Trudie was her “best friend” and neighbor. You have to be very self centered and cold to do that to your so called “friend”. I grew up listening to The Police and love Sting’s solo career. Admired him as an artist and I do understand as a human, he isn’t without faults. Hope Frances and Trudie have made amends.
