Sting is the epitome of class in his showmanship. He identifies with his audience. I think this is so incredible and the idea of singing in Spanish so tasteful to connect with his audience. God has graced him with such a beautiful gift. Props to guitar, drums, and of course keyboards. All truly talented. What an honor to be on stage with Sting and to sing one of the most loved Jimi Hendrix songs.

@@karlosvalderas9254 si lo fue, un gran recital con tremendos artistas y unas 80 mil personas. Sting grabó esa canción en su disco en ingles, pero también sonaba en la versión en español en los programas de videos musicales y en la radio, como a mediado o finales de los 80 sonaban las 2 versiones. Recuerdo que en ese mismo tiempo y del mismo disco sacó Fragile y Ellas Danzan Solas también en español

Sting fue el último artista en el Concierto de Anmistia, que solo ese día había tenido a otras estrellas de la talla de Sidney O Conors, Ruben Blades y Peter Gabriel. La Banda de Sting sonaba increible y con mucha potencia, con Colaiuta en su mejor momento. Tuve la suerte de estar ahí y recuerdo ese día de mucha emisión y esperanza colectiva por la democracia que se había reconquistado. Un concierto inolvidable.

The intro is really Voodoo Chile (Slight Return). And the Spanish translation of Little Wing is really terrible, as if had been written by a first year Spanish student. There's a competent guitar solo by Dominic Miller... but that's one department where hardly any guitarist born after Jimi Hendrix can compete against Jimi Hendrix. The saving grace is Kenny Kirkland who at least supplies something new with dignity and creativity.
