Only thing is, they don’t last as long unless you keep the blades clean and dry after using them. Also, it’s easier to cut yourself using it. Buts it’s old school and easier than the straight razors. I used to work for Walgreens and we would be disciplined if we were to try and stop a shop lifter in any way and 9.9/10 they would get away with it because the security cameras are more of just a deterrent than something actually used to catch thieves. Once we had a ladys card not go through but the cashier mistakenly told her she was good to go. After realizing the transaction didn't go through the cashier went out into the parking lot to inform the customer who gladly came back in to pay since she had no intention of trying to steal and it was a simple mistake. The store manager wanted to write her up for doing that. Big companies would rather pass along the price of stolen goods to the consumers than pay for any insurance or lawsuits that would stem from an employee getting hurt while trying to stop someone. They would literally rather let people steal and fire their workers than have anyone caught.

Dude I work for CVS, do you have any idea how many petty thieves we get in the store a day? On average it’s 3 a day, each taking some small thing in there pocketbook or sweatshirt and we are not able to even say anything because if we’re wrong it’s our jobs. We often tell the cops but they have better things to do then hunt down a box of stolen condoms and a bottle of Advil. It’s not that we don’t care, it’s that we physically can’t do anything if we want to stay employed. Hell just a couple months ago a cashier tried to stop a thief and he as well as the store manager who had bee with the company for 11 fucking years were both fired to avoid a lawsuit. And before anyone asks it’s because the cashier locked the thief inside the building and I believe she was pressing charges for wrongful imprisonment or something like that. Sorry if I’m coming across as snippy here but it’s incredibly frustrating being the one who has to stand there and watch the merchandise get stolen without a damn word.
