iniesta and xavi are free roles of midfielder, guardiola task them to always make triangles and diamond moves with other support to create space for messi and themself. this is Johan Cruiyff what he wanted , unstoppable diamond units in football formations, guardiola create this with high skillful talent but not ideal physically like messi, iniesta, xavi, david silva, dani alves.

Weird request but can you do Wenger's later years? When he signed Sanchez and kept winning FA cups, you could also do a 3 at the back variant from the 2nd half of 16/17

FYI use a trequartista instead of a false 9.he does everything a false 9 can do plus he isnt passive so hes going to be getting those goals and assists too unlike a dlf on attack

those 433 are really special formation for special players in not ideal - small physic players but high skills and high understanding, its hard to replicate again but once of any club in europe manage to replicate again, they will unstoppable, its like brazil 1994 with ajax touch 🔥👍

you still can adopt it in latest fm series, the things that so hard to replicate are creating diamond that really fluid for trequartista and finding players and proper roles in fm to replicate iniesta busquet and xavi, they are keys.

great video Stinger! think what im going to test in the roaming from positions with the front three, rather than using the PI roam from position, ill try swap positions with to see if the fluidity comes through

I think 2 rpms would've worked pretty well in my experience rpms play like more ball playing box to box midfielders

Wouldn't a midfield of RPM (Xavi) and Mez A/S (Iniesta) work better here? As opposed to both CMs on automatic.

NO, they are too fluid as mezalla or too plain as box to box midfielder. the keys are they aggresive off the ball and on the ball, always making PASS and movement near or involving messi with busquet behind them cover the losing ball. even put them as AP or DLP didnt quite close to replicate them as they also aggresive if losing possesion. the things that close to replicate them are BWM with be more expressive and PI set to take more risk, but its still not quite close with 2011 legemdary roles.why ? BWM cannot free role and set to Attack, only support.

The false 9 is too passive while the dlf attack isn't getting much assist and dribbles How do i fix that

Potentially add some PIs to the DLF. Dribble more, more direct passing perhaps. Also the option to add be more expressive into team instructions

I found F9 works really well with the "gets forward whenever possible" trait. Stumbled on it by chance. I know common sense says drops deep, but like you say it makes them far too passive.

The tactic is certainly good, but is not absolutely a recreation. Tiki-taka is a slow tempo and much more passing style tactic

Definitely not exact replication, but I have to say they definitely used a slightly higher tempo at Barca, a lot more often than City do
