@Rosemarie Collins i have to disagree with you buying to eat healthier is more expensive! And most ppl cant get food stamps,snap,or any assistance! Besides we're to pray over our food God blesses us with! A lot of what some say is healthier is not! Afraid of dairy-butter,cheese,& whole milk! Why would any natural food be worse than manmade like margarine,see through milk,no fat,no meat!! Not what God's Word & instructions say!! Now we have so many with dementia,alzheimers,more & more diseases,arthritis,etc you name it !!

The only channel that not only cooks like me but loves cheese as much as I do . Almost everything is better with cheese on top. I have tried quite a few of your recipes and many were already favorites of mine. I have been stretching food all of my life and trying to find recipes that become family favorites so we can forget we are recycling leftovers. God Bless you and your family. Your Chicken Dorito Casserole is so good! All I did different was used Cream of Chicken soup, a whole brick of creamed cheese, and my son wanted me to add a can of Fire Roasted Rotel tomatoes. I had to use 2 bags of Doritos. I think I had a little more broth than you made. It filled a roasting pan. My kids love it! I did the Beef Dorito Casserole last week. Tasted like eating tamales. Yum! We're going to make this a regular meal in this house. Thank you for the recipes, Miss Jan.

I made the Dorrito casserole for dinner tonight. I added green pepper, onion and peas because (like your husband) its not dinner without vegtables. Its was very good! My 16 year old loved it too. Thank you for sharing.

Jan - you can spray the underside of the aluminum foil with the cooking spray. It will eliminate anything sticking to it.

I make this cake too, but I do put pineapple on the bottom with a little juice, then I put the cake mix on top. When it’s done cooking I do the upside down thing, pineapples and juice slithering down the cake...yummy!

Jan we make a cake something like that one but we use pineapple upside down cake mix which is a yellow cake mix an we take a can of crushed pineapple an add 1 tablespoon of sugar in the pineapple an let it set after stiring it thru for about 25 min an then take a can an a half of cherry pie filling an then mix it all together into the cake mix an it is so yummy I wish you would try it an do it on your channel in honor of my Mommy lost her 5 years ago . her name was Janice Ray Jarnigan Gregg . She an I cooked together alot an would come up with our own dishes alot an that was one of them . love your channel hope you do it or can try it aleast .

Do you mix the cake mix according to directions and then add the fruit? How long do you bake? 350 degrees? Sounds great!

@@blueiz1119 we just did it like jan did with hers but sometimes we would use 1 cakes mix an a half but we would place half stick butter cut it up into very little cubed peices an place all over the top. But not much different just depends if you want cobbler type or kinda like a dump it cake but we always mix it together..

As for the food I think tonight I will try the casserole because I think my grandbaby and younger daughter will really love it of course husband too. I was going to make scratch made chicken and dumplings but this looks much easier lol plus after 29years of marriage as you well know it is good to throw a curveball and change it up sometimes. Hi Jan, I'm making this casserole tonight, it's in the oven right now, only difference is my daughter and granddaughter don't like nacho cheese Doritos so I used cool ranch ones, I hope that it tastes good also I'm going to use a can of apple pie filling in my cake mix because I'm the only one who likes cherry, so I hope that it turns out good, wish me luck, I will let you know how it is, the casserole too!
