He hated Dana White. As he should. Dana was sucking Ngannou's toes all day every day. It was embarrassing to watch him ignore Stipe. Stipe is the real champ here. Ngannou was just born big and way to busy watching himself in mirrors. The whole Gaethje family worked in mines. Thousands of men are working in mines. nothing dramatic there. Tough, but not so special. But for Francis it's dramatic? Now watch Stipe: being a world champ and active fire fighter at the same time is an achievement for the books. And he never ever brags about it. Now that's a role model. You are right, he is the real #GOAT

@@NAC_11359 LMAOOOO you are crazy if you think Stipe wins the rematch. You are right though MMA wins over brute strength and that's why stipe won the first time, thing is NOW Francis is a student of the Martial Arts. He said after he won the HW title Kamaru told him to "breathe" "relax" "be patient" all of these are martial arts principles and important for champions. He also learnt how to wrestle from the best wrestlers in MMA history DC and Kamaru . Francis is the Ultimate MMA Fighter now and Ngannou v Gane is gonna be an amazing fight. personally based of the small amount of sparring footage we have I think Gane gets KO'd
@johnbu90983 жыл бұрын
@@NAC_11359 lol when someone with brute strength learns martial arts, what you gonna do with your noodle arms? Can you defeat a silverback gorilla with BJJ even though BJJ is the perfect martial arts to counter bigger opponents? Brute strength is literal number 1 requirement for a good martial artist to execute any moves. If You don’t have strength then throw whatever you learned out of the window cuz you just can’t simply use whatever you learned to its maximum potential. A silverback gorilla doesn’t even have to learn martial arts to kill you, because they an bench press a tonne. If you can’t even match someone at least on weight and strength don’t even think you can beat them with skill. Why did Max Holloway lose against Dustin Poirier? Because Dustin was a bigger dude with similar fighting skills. A featherweight just doesn’t have enough power to damage a lightweight. Simple as that.

@ARR4092 жыл бұрын
@@Technovore88 For sure. I get Stipe was older. But in the older weight classes youth and athleticism isn’t that big of a factor. That’s why Glover, Couture and DC could become champs well into their 40s at those weight classes at/above 205lbs. Francis is like 37 now too. Primes for heavyweights and light-heavyweights tend to be in the mid-late 30s. With the lower classes being early 30s or late 20s due to how athletic and technical you have to be to compete in them. And Stipe is the last dude to use his age as an excuse due to that ‘immigrant mentality’ that Joey Diaz and now Chito Vera use to describe him. Hell Stipe seems like a stoic ass guy that wouldn’t make any excuses for his shortcomings. He was very respectful to DC after he lose his fight to him and made no excuses as to the egregious eye pokes that DC used. He didn’t even mention them. He just worked, got back into the gym and fixed his mistakes to win his belt back in the rematch (with incredible fight IQ+ a really good mid-fight adjustment) and to beat DC a third time.
