Seeing some of these comments shows how little some people understand MMA and how to judge a fight. I've even seen MMA KZbinrs like "The Weasle" make a video on this fight and judge it wrong. Not only inaccurately, but under the wrong criteria. He judged it under the New Unified Rules and this fight was in Texas, who's commission DIDN'T adopt the New Unified Rules. That aside, sure it was a closely contested fight and Reyes did land a couple clean shots. But a lot of people just see Reyes throwing and touching Jon and think he's really putting it on him. Those with a good understanding of what they're seeing, were able to see that the majority of the shots weren't landing clean or weren't really landing at all. Jon is really good at rolling with punches and slipping them by a hair. If you're someone who's reading this and didn't really see what I'm talking about. I'd recommend watching it again and focus on the details. Don't just watch Reyes touch him and count it as a quality shot. Really focus on the connections or lack of clean connections. Jon rolling, slipping, and evading. Remember that a punch doesn't have to miss by a mile to miss, and doesn't have to just touch you to be considered a damage shot. I think you'll view the fight through a different lens.
