He made me laugh such a lot as a child. I can't remember any of the dishes. My dad used to love his programmes and my mother watched him as she was evangelical and probably thought that programme was good for me. It is great to see him talk about modern food we have now

Graham is legendary. He's one of the TV chefs I grew up with. One of the reasons I became a chef

Graham Kerr is nothing short of a legend. Grew up watching him as a kid and to this day I consider his shows the best of all of them.

Nice to hear him call it a "rutabaga" instead of a "Swede", despite being English!

He was ahead of his time when it came to fat, salt etc and cooking. I remember his health focused show on USA network in 90s
I used to laugh at him and now I laugh with him. Live and learn.

Miss seeing GK on tv. What was his cooking show from the 90's where he would cook a dish and then go over to his easel and tally up numbers on a large piece of paper? Loved that show.

I know what you're referring to. The name of his show in the 90s was called "Graham Kerr's Kitchen". He referred to it as two programs in one. For good tasting food, yet healthy.

graham you are the reason & true inspirations to happy cooking i enjoyed & loved watching you cook in the 70s aka ‘the galloping gourmet’ you made it look and feels so much fun and easy watching you jump over chairs & the audience begging and licking their lips on who you will bring up next for a great meal which made me secretly make my first pastie & cookies @ the age of 13 in the middle of the night without my parents knowing lol, i always wanted to be a chef but times now cooking has become too challenging and chefs being way too rude and shouty only 1 chef today if lucky is a happy chef it’s Ainsley Harriet the rest takes it way too serious swearing and throwing temper trantum stuff on tv, as if they all ADHD chefs just to get recognition, where has the true entertainment of cooking without the swearing gone, i don’t care what anyone says but you have always been the true godfather of chefs and you still are 👨🏼🍳

Surprising what a simple modest kitchen. I'm Sure he wishes to be on TV today making the big bucks like many TV cooks compared to his modest pay many years ago.

Question on an old recipe and if you can modernize it ‘healthy’? You once did an oyster and baguette and garlic/butter/olive oil creation.
