i love cooking with pineapple too and apple and often will put raisins in with the rice when I cook it so they plump up hmm. will try this for sure

I am blind so I can't comment on the where it looks. I felt like I was left hanging on the sources part so I added soy sauce. I also added onions and garlic full stop. It was delicious

Thanks Ken now I know to heat the left over cold rice first. Does this method also apply to cooking fried rice with chopped meats and veggies?

Drizzle a little oil in then throw in the cold rice and stir-fry for a minute or so until the rice is hot and then any meats or veggies!

Yes, but add the mango at the very last moment as it is soft, just to warm.

Never thought about adding fruit to fried rice. I have always added the egg just the way you do, i have always thought that adding the egg first was just for speed in a resturant and to me it lazy, it is not egg fried rice but omlette and fried rice. The brown fried toasty flavoured egg covered grains of rice add agreat deal of flavour and texture to the dish. I was taught to add soy sauce, pepper, toasted seasame seed oil to the eggs and whisk them in, also oyster sauce, chilli oil as optional extras. It makes it a wet mess but that is soon absorbed by the rice so every grain has flavour and those oh so lovely brown tastey flecks. Take care, God bless one and all.

Hi Ken you use all Lkk sauces soy sauce except sesame oil have msg in them n msg is not good for the health.

Sorry but I'm no chef nor am i chinese , but that Fried rice is , terrible , looks like stodge , The egg gets scarmbbled cooked first and set aside, Far to much rice in the Wok , Fried rice as individual grains, also add some dark and light soy, to the cold rice before frying, green onions raw for garnish peas in instead. Sorry mine looks far better than this !

Not impressed with that fried rice. Too soggy at the end and the eggs always go in first. Also where is the soy sauce, sesame oil, and other seasonings? Looked very bland and wet at the end.

Ken can't really cook very well. This isn't how to make fried rice.
