Another good tutorial. I am thinking of getting a Janome and the stitch composer is definitely something I would use. I am a bit confused about 12000 vs 15000. What is a Memory Craft 9450 considered? Thank you.

The 12000 and 15000 machines are combo Sewing and embroidery machines, the 9450 is sewing only. The 12000 machine is older than the 15000 and is no longer being manufactured. If you could get your hands on a used one it’s very similar to the 15. Main differences are the screen size and screen clarity, amount of stitches, and it doesn’t have WiFi capabilities and the IPad apps that work with the 15.

@@faviolamartinezsewdigitizing I am just interested in a sewing only machine. The brochure for the 9450 says it has stitch composer software. Does it have the curved screen like the 12000 or the straight grid screen? Thanks.

@@veronicamorrison193 I haven’t taught the class to multiple machines in a long time, so I hope I’m right! I’m almost 100% certain that the 9450 has the straight grid. The only one with the curve grid was the 12000 machine which was the first machine with a Stitch Composer.

Does this video also apply to M7?

I’m not familiar with the M7 machine and all it has, but I do believe that a Stitch Composer is available for it too
