You make the holidays more fun. Thank you for all the smiles and laughter. A note for gluten free people: Namaste gluten free flour mix makes good pastry and decent bread. Available from Amazon if you can't find it in the shops. Lazy mince pie I do every year now: Make your favorite butter pastry and replace half the butter with cream cheese. Roll it out thin and cut it into squares. Fill with mincemeat and fold over so it looks like a little triangle a little egg wash and sprinkle with a bit of sugar for a gentle frosty finish. Bake and they are easy finger food and keep well. Love your Cardy!!!!!!!!

I was delighted that you tried a gluten free mince pie today! My husband is a coeliac so on a strict gluten free diet and believe me the M &S one’s are possibly the best! Also the sell by date is probably shorter anyway! I love your vlogmas videos so keep going Paula! X

Paula, I’ve just had an alert from the Food Standards Agency to say that the Walkers Mince Pie crisps have been recalled because of undeclared milk…The alert advises to return the crisps to the shop that you purchased for a refund. It’s disappointing as I know that you liked them and I wanted to try them too:(

Hello! James seems to be warning to the camera slowly 😃 What did you think of the verbena jam? I’m looking at a set of pro knit needles…what length needle is best to get? I’m tempted to get the longest so they can be use for little or big project but do they get in the way if they are to long? What would you recommend for a beginner who would like a set of decent needles instead of my huge bundle of old, hand me down bent ones?! x
