We never get mince pies in the States. I so enjoy your humor and the animals. James is really cute! I like seeing him. I like to get Jonathan appl3s in the autumn because you can make red applesauce from them. They have red skins. But then I like to eat jonagold because they have real crunchy peel. Gregg’s mince pies are my favourite. I think they are more fruity and not so sweet, as you said. I like to warm them in the oven and give them an extra dusting of icing sugar… then they look homemade! I love dark ryvita too with marmalade, or anything on top really. My favourite Bonne Maman jam is Black Cherry, and the Bitter Orange Marmalade is delicious too ( not really bitter at all). You two are such a laugh!

Love your Vlogmas episodes -I can’t help but laugh when you laugh so hard! It is interesting that the Jam advents are different in each country. So far I’m enjoying it. I found Mincemeat tarts on Amazon so I picked a small package by Walkers so I can try. My Swedish aunts made them every Christmas. I didn’t favor them as a kid, but adult taste buds are different so I’m curious to taste.

I’m on vacation in Maine and I brought my iPad along because I can’t miss your vlogmas. Just got back to the hotel and I wasn't disappointed! OMG you make me laugh so much especially when you & James are together……salt on blisters! LOL!!! I didn’t even know that McDonalds made mince pies….well they don’t in the US. Bummer. I am so disappointed in our lackluster bonne maman advent calendar in the US but I so enjoy watching yours so keep it up. Love your vlogmas!!! ❤️

I never dreamed that our jam calendars would be different and it sort of bums me out. I opened three today because I have been away from home and our day 3 was lemon. Good! My doors aren’t partially opened but it IS hard to get the jams out without tearing the scene. I had to tape the ratty parts. How nice that a generous person is contributing to the James sock wool stash! I’m a little concerned about your stuffy nose. You definitely aren’t used to the piglets living in the house yet. When are we going to bake the Christmas cake?😂 I have the recipe written on the picture that was online and I didn’t write down all the marzipan/icing sugar business because I don’t understand all that. Carry on, Paula. I bet you’d be surprised that mince pies are scarce here in the USA, but I will look when I go to the grocery store. I’m not eating any for sure because there are way too many other festive things about. Maybe I will make tiny pecan pies instead. Oh blah blah blah sorry🙄
