Stitched circle show challenge - Week 2 2025

Dogma Rules:
1. Coffee sprayed/dyed watercolor paper/cardstock.
2. Trace a circle on the watercolor paper.
3. Stitch only double running stitches wherever you want inside the traced circle.
4. Use 2 different color of threads, of your choice.

A suggestion for getting an even number of holes easily: put the first 4 holes at 12, 3, 6 and 9 (if this was a clock), the filling in between with the same even # you should come out right.

That’s also the way I do it in other works. Think I said the clock thing many times in my videos. I t works great 👍

This is super timely. I don’t have fabric at home and am trapped by a heavy (for our area) snow storm. We have about a foot of the fluffy stuff and our road crews just don’t have the capacity to deal especially in my backroads area. Anyway, I tried the first challenge with watercolor paper but couldn’t get my dull needle through it and now I see how to do it! By the way, in no way criticizing your English, which is excellent, but the thing you put a needle in is just called a cork. The corkscrew is the thing that pulls the cork out of the bottle. Personally, I find it adorable but thought you might want to know. Thanks again. I want to get stitching!
