Hi, I love your Chanel . Can you recommend any good sewing book for petite people 5 feet tall. Does Nancy book include methods to alter for petite?

Very nice Library Viv! I had to laugh when you found something new while look at the book “Complete Guide to Sewing”!! You are too funny! I have a few books and but I have to admit, these days I watch KZbin more than going to my books. I use them when I can’t find what I’m looking for on KZbin. I guess that makes me more of a visual (hands on) learner. BTW, you are definitely going to hit your 1K very soon!

I'm looking forward to building it. I've had a few recommendations :) I'm always finding something or maybe I'm forgetting what I already read! Thanks so much Myra.

Love sewing books too! I just ordered the Reader's Digest one on Amazon - the 'Look Inside' showed me a page on putting shoulder pads in a man's jacket which is exactly what I need as I am attempting to make one for DH. You are at 967 subscribers just now :-)

Ohhh Thanks! I love books, I wish I could read while sleeping lol, there's so much to know! Hubby is asking for more complicated things lately, so far I'm playing dumb hahaha! Thanks for watching!

Great selection of books Viv! I have the Nancy Zieman book (not sure if it's the exact same one or a similar one with her pivot & slide method). I've used it several times for a swayback, very helpful! I've heard good things about the Palmer/Pletsch and Readers Digest books so I may have to invest in those too!:) I just bought that Ogden Cami pattern today! So excited to make up a few for summer:) Yay, almost at 1K subs, that's awesome Viv!:) I'm glad I found your vlog, I always look forward to your new videos:D

I really like Nancy’s books and I need to keep an eye out for actual books to buy, they’ll be gems to pass on one day. The Palmer/Alto books are so good, you won’t go wrong with them. My biggest issue is I fail to look at them enough. My books are currently in a closet so it’s a case of out of sight-out if mind lol. I can’t believe it, it’s crazy 😆. I’m glad we ran across each other too. Hubby has been up to making everything all fancy-schmancy, he’s done a great job and I’ll be sure to pass on your compliment. Thanks for watching Rikki😘

Hi Viv lovely to see you again, I am sure you will be soon over 1000, you really deserve your success. I love your hair in that style, you look really pretty. A great vlog which I really enjoyed, books can be very expensive so it was great to have a good look before buying. I met Tilly when she first appeared on the Sewing Bee, a really genuine and down to earth young lady. I agree with you about the Sewing Bee book, I gave mine to a friend. Have a wonderful Easter Viv, big hugs and loves. Dorothy xxxxxx😘🙋🏻❤️

Dorothy Griffiths Hiya Dorothy, it’s always so lovely to read your comments. I’m really liking this new hairstyle too, and it’s not a big pain to do 🤣 Tilly seems just how you describe her, she has really put her stamp on sewing! I can’t wait to get her new book and I’m sure my girls will like it too. I’m so glad you enjoyed the vlog. Happy Easter Dorothy, I hope you have a lovely one. ♥️
