First doll I’ve made - turned out better than I’d hoped and I’ll improve next time. Pretty mouth. Love your NI accent reminds me my childhood there.
@ecdesignsknittedtoys2 жыл бұрын
Hi Dorothy Every doll I make turns out different, although I am more consistent with practice sometimes there is a face I really don't like and I rip it out and start again. Sometimes they look better once the hair is on. LOL I can't hide the accent! I'm originally from Belfast, living in Carnmoney. :)

Hi Elizabeth, this is how I stitch the faces, I'm sure other people do it other ways ... for years I struggled with faces, and I would get my mum to embroider them. Stay safe. Elaine

@@ecdesignsknittedtoys It takes confidence to do faces, I’m taking in all the face embroidery videos that I can find lately. You stay safe too. 🌹🌹🌹

Absolutely loved that. An accent and phrasing I'm familiar with instead of American ones. Lovely soft voice. Although you should see what the subtitles do! I'm a bit deaf so I need them. Thank you so much.

Hi I just found your channel and I love the dolls you make . I have been crocheting nearly 50 yrs on and off . My Mom taught me how to knit , crochet and sew. My Mom was from Ansley. Anyways I was making a lot of blankets and cat toys but I now started doing amiguruim I really like it but I am still learning all the tricks to making them . I love your video's and the way you show us how to do the dolls . You are calm and clear when speaking and you explain all the stitches . Thank you for showing us how to make your dolls . God bless and be safe . Love from Southern Ontario Canada. P.s I was wondering if you could do videos on just making the faces and diffrent things you can do to the dolls face to make them look as good as you do . Thank you again .😀😗

Hi Karen, Lovely to hear from you, I love knitting and crochet too ... but with crochet I'm not good at following the pattern so I tend to make the same blanket pattern again and again ... its actually a pattern that I inherited from my Grandmother (she was a great at crochet) its an easy pattern, but it looks good, every baby I know I make them one :) I started doing these videos during the 1st covid lockdown here ... last March ... when I look back on them I think that perhaps I'm just rambling :) But its lovely to hear from people :) Stay safe. Elaine

Thank you for sharing dolls face how can i learn how to knit cap for dolls hair
@ecdesignsknittedtoys2 жыл бұрын
in my patterns I give the number of stitches and rows needed to make the basic cap, it varies according to the doll. Then there is a video called stitching in the hair, it explains how I stitch in the lengths of yarn to make the hair.
