Thank you so much for sharing your skills and thoughts about design in this video. I bought your book in 2009, read it and enjoyed it so many times but had never tried any of the techniques you describe. I cannot wait to get started on a new journey of discovery. I would love to know how the very long pieces are sewn into the quilt that are extensions of the color in the smaller blocks. of
@Stitchinpost3 жыл бұрын
Hi Cheryl, I'm not sure I understand your question, but I'll give it a shot. Jean usually constructs her curved pieces in sections then combines them. In the blue and green quilt she has two main sections where she rotated the direction of the pieced strips. The top strips run horizontal and the bottom vertical. I hope that helps.

Can you suggest a sewing machine with a drop in bobbin, I'm tired of having to open the little door underneath to put in a new bobbin
@Stitchinpost2 жыл бұрын
We sell two Eversewn machines that have a drop in bobbin. We love the quality of this brand so we offer them, but otherwise we don't sell machines. If you want to call the shop (541-549-6061) they can tell you more about them.

The chair is a basic office chair. It's pretty old and no one seems to know anything else about it. Sorry, I don't have more info for you.

You don't need to cut the second piece, you can just sew the prior piece to the whole(uncut) piece. It will turn out the same when you press it.
