The problem is that you stayed with the same crappy IR for all the amps. The cab doesn't change automatically when you change amps.
@Itsjorgelanzas6 ай бұрын
I agree man,, 🤣🤣 I hate it when they do that. I just wanna be able to hear great representations of each amp change. Like, you got a great cab for the AC30, just pair it with it in the default state, why risking it making a bad impression, when you already invested all the time, money and effort into make a great plugin, make sure it’s always at its best. Thanks for your comment friend! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I hope you’re having a great weekend!

Also the cabinet changes how the amp interacts with the cabinet. You can verify this by using an external cabinet loader. Now go change the cabinet/speaker. The mic won’t matter. You’ll get totally different results say using Recto amp with a 112 cabinet vs. the actual Recto cab. Even tho the cabinet is bypassed it will change the sound. As said yeah you didn’t change the cabinet at all. The eagle cab defaults for whatever reason.

@@Itsjorgelanzas Hey man I randomly found this video and I was reading the comments as soon as I heard how bad you sounded in the video lol (no offense) and I gotta say I think you and probably a lot of other guitarist are making this mistake that I used to make when I started out trying different plugins aswell… but I can gaurantee you that if you had ran a good IR/Cab loader beside the plugin in a DAW instead of the stock one in the plugin (or atleast set that one up right) it would've sound 100 times better. I recomend GGD cabs, MIKKO2, and HyperRig Kiesel cab section for this. Anyways the reason why the company doesn’t just pair it like you said in the comment above is because then everyone would sound the same and it would take away from the creativity and sure maybe they would make more money but not much (when they could sell you another product for this like the 3 I mentioned) and also if you compare that to buying real life amps and cabs they don’t come all set up perfectly either… you have to figure out your own mic positions etc… so I would reccomend spending some more time with this and finding a good IR/Cab loader that you like because your video’s are honestly miss leading people because these sound great when set up right.

Oh and also adjust your input/output level of each amp/cab plugin that you’re running within the DAW because they matter too

Thanks for the complete review, my friend. Yes. This software has too much plugins/simulators but doesn't have a "little thing to blow our minds yet". Greetings and go for all!!! :8)

Did you try Bias FX2? If so, how it compares to Amplitube? Cheers from Brazil
@Itsjorgelanzas7 ай бұрын
Hi Daniel!! I have, in my opinion, bias and the positive grid stuff it’s lots of fun to play and learn with, but, I feel the sound is amongst the worse for my taste, they sound good for fun, and practice, but for my kind of work and needs, I wouldn’t waste my time with Bias. 😅😅

I agree with your assessment. I just purchased Amphub, I had high expectations & was a little disappointed. But, it’s definitely worth the $10 per month.

Yeah, I was pretty excited when I saw it. I tried a couple other of their plugins and thought this might be good, but it wasn’t. I’ve seen AT5 max go for $99, I think that’s a better deal. In any case, thank you for your comment my friend! 😊 I hope you’re having a great weekend!! 🙌🏻

I believe you have to match the input gain to what was used by the manufacturer when they modeled the amp for it to sound better 👍 i like the chunky grinds preset🔥🔥

You should do a review on Audio Singularity's neurontube. It's a free Soldano sim and sounds fantastic.

I hear you, best example of shiny looking interfaces with bad coding behind. Thanks for saving my time here, not testing this out. I am setup with guitar plugins, but like you always looking what’s in there, which is better than my preferred: Helix, Amplitube, UAD, Modeling amp sims. Helix does all what Neural DSP does, even better. Long story short, I stay with these:)
@ESP777697 ай бұрын
I've used all of the amp sims available, it's still the NeuralDSP Cory Wong, and Scuffham S-Gear so far, nothing comes close to these. There's a good Marshall in Guitar Rig.
@Itsjorgelanzas7 ай бұрын
My friend!! Thanks for your nice comment! I agree, I think so far, helix seems the most complete! It’d be so cool if the just work on that interface 🤣🤣🤣 a couple grand to a techy guy and done deal 🤣🤣 amplitube still gets my heart, sounds and looks good. I wish it had a cooler sound collection, that’s where helix is KILLING!! Ps, have you compared helix with AxeFx? Idk why, I feel like it may be super similar. Haven’t had an axe fx here though, so I can’t remember at this point. Thanks for your thoughtful comment my friend!
@Itsjorgelanzas7 ай бұрын
I love the Cory song too, you’re right. I should use it more! Thanks for your comment!
@jorvten3607 ай бұрын
The S Gear stuff is great, I agree. But the Helix beats it in every fx and modular all in one platform. You can do everything in it, I was about buying the Morgan amps and cory wong. But I could match everything 1:1 with the Helix Native plugin. Once you know how to tweak it, you have endless options. But I guess the interface and tweak ability isn’t everyone’s thing here, I get it :)
@Itsjorgelanzas7 ай бұрын
Helix is definitely worth the effort 🤣🤣 I’m still dreaming of that KOT!! What a phenomenal overdrive! Incredible sound. Totally blew me away.

SORRY body... but you make a video about a plugin you doesn' t have a clue how it' s work... First, you chosen amp with NO TWEEK at all ... EVERYTHING was on level ZERO... You doesn' t even chose a cab to fit the right Amp... C' MON !!! I have almost EVERY amps sims available ( Tonex, Amplitube, Biax Fx, Bogren, Aurora DSP, Audio Assault, Neural DSP, Thu, Guitar rig, Nembrini, Ml SOund lab, Ugritone, and the list goes on and on...) and for SURE STL TONE are among the BEST out there... Probably top 3 EASY... Learn hoiw to use it ; AFTER make a video about it... What a waste of time ! P.S 80% of the sound was the CABINET you chose to fit the amp... SO... AND your set up was STILL on ""WELCOME""... C" MON !! Moral of the story : NEVER trust a review video with a guy try to play Sabbath on a pink guitar !!... 🤣🤣
