Honda makes buttery smooth inline fours. For anyone wondering. VTEC doesn’t kick in until the throttle is about 100% so you can coast out of vtec but be in the powerband to crossover at anytime. The F engine thrives on high revs and doesn’t like to be short shifted. It’s unforgiving to bad drivers. This is why the K series is favored in the USA because it can tolerate bad shifting habits better with i-vtec helping airflow at mid rpms but the F2xC will always be more special and can’t be found in a garden variety Accord or CR-V.

@@MARK-po7cm thanks man! I'd prefer silver like what you have. But if I find anything with low miles and stock, I'm going for it! Plan on keeping this car for a while. You truly have a gem on your hands and happy for ya! (also looking forward to other videos you have with it) - much respect!

Me and my son beat the snot out of my AP1 with an OEM hardtop silver stone as well with 35k on the clock bone stock. Sadly it's not been driven the last two years very much. Invested in so many other projects lately. Nice driving ;)

There is nothing like driving a legendary convertible in beautiful weather, on the beach, with a sunset as the backdrop. The only thing better is a beautiful woman by your side.

Currently driving a 2000 Honda accord type r, which is far more rare but just not as special as this. Maybe in a year or two i sell it and buy an s2000, if the prices dont go too crazy of course

This was the car that started my love affair with Japanese Imports before my best friend but one of these brand new in 2006 I didn't really care for Japanese Imports too much I knew there were some that were badass examples but I really thought the American muscle cars and sports cars if you can call him that we're my favorite but the S2000 changed all that 240 horsepower 160 lb of torque no turbo supercharger just an engine a trip to 8200 the F20 model engine Rift over 9,000 06 they changed it to the F-22
