Stock 2010 SS Camaro before and after installation of Borla S-type Axle Back

The difference between the stock axle back and Borla's S-Type. Not much louder, but the tone is amazing. Videos really don't show the true effect of any exhaust, but its an idea of what it sounds like.

@slyguy414 - for some reason your stock video sounded way better than you borla video... any theories on why? the borla sounds quieter and weaker than stock.

Car sounds great! How is the cabin noise at 60-70mph? Whats it sound like when AFm kicks in? Thx

+FMC739 sorry for the extremely late reply. By this time in the video, we'd already turned afm off. The borla had a bit a drone around 1600-2000 rpms. The weld on the exhaust tip broke, then the weld at the clamp broke. I've since replaced the entire exhaust set up with ARH catted long tubes and corsa catback. I will never spend money on borla again

the borla atak is designed to be a lot louder and have a lot more rasp. when i get a chance, i'll be happy to update the s-type footage.

@mattdj313 yes it was completely stock. i have to take another video of the S-type because its nice and broken in now so it sounds 100x better than stock IMO

the before video- was that completely stock, unmodified exhaust? sounds pretty good.

i did too. but then it broke in and sounds 10x better than stock. and now that it has an xpipe instead of the stupid resonator, it finally sounds right imo

It's a 6.2L Engine, it's bound to sound good despite the L99 cats/resonators and quieted stock setup.

I've been saving up for the S Type Axle backs for my Camaro. Had a minor set back though, had $400 saved up, almost there since they cost roughly $630-$690. But I spent $150 of my savings on silver since the economy is slumping.

+romain sd i had the AFM turned off at around 400 miles on the car, so i never had to listen to it. The borla did drone its ass off on the highway though. Which is why i switched to corsa
