Ya, totally, if the RZR had a set of mud tires it would probably have made it through and done much better. It was still a lot of fun even though the winch had to come out a few times. The RZR actually made it through a lot more than we expected it to that day. Thanks for watching!

question is at the end of the day what's more reliable the popo or the canned am .. cause from it looks like on the Polaris forums they spend more time wrenching than riding. and the mav's eat front diffs and need a upgraded clutch out the gate . but the rotax is a solid engine

Hi how do you find the tires in the mud ? Do you know anything about Mega Mayhem ? Is the Can Am AS good As the 800 RZR or is it better in the mud . I have the 800 RZR want to go to Can Am commander 1000 if it as good in the mud ?

I really like all of your videos but you at least should have used a razor 1000 in stead of a razor 900 vrs a can-am that is a mud ready 1000 however still a great video I know you can't just go out and buy a razor just for a comparison video.

I believe the xmr is more like my highlifter for Polaris.. so ya a stock rzr against a stock can am... would be better for comparison.. my stock highlifter would go way deeper than a stock can am.. or a stock Polaris

Lol, those are the stock tires a Maverick XMR comes with. Not all the videos can be pro, I wanted to show all the Can-Am boys that I don't only post videos where the Polaris wins, lol. I've got all sorts of footage so I figured I'd change it up a little and post a video of me gettin my ass handed to me by a Can-Am. No sense of wasting good footage, lol. I'll try to redeem myself soon, one of our buddies just ordered a Can-Am Maverick X3 so we will see how the RZR's hold up against that. Thanks for watching, maybe I wont let you down next time ;)

I don't see how this is bait and switch z33k3r. The description clearly states it is a comparison of a STOCK Polaris RZR XP 900 against a STOCK Can-Am Maverick XMR. The title also states this quite clearly as does the thumbnail. The comparison was to show how a stock mud specific machine like the Maverick XMR excels in these conditions in comparison to a stock RZR XP which is intended for all around use. I clearly stated that I would also like to film a comparison similar to this comparing a Maverick XMR and a RZR High Lifter Edition which are both mud machines and would be a much closer match. Therefore, I believe you may have misunderstood the point of this comparison. People often ask me how a stock RZR does in the mud comparison to a machine like a Maverick XMR or a RZR High Lifter edition and this is the response to that. My Commander would have made it 1/2 way, overheated, need to get pulled out then the gearbox would blow up on the way home. Can Am says I drive it to hard, nothing is covered under warranty. Polaris wins.

I've had friends with the same issues here about Can-Am not wanting to cover anything under warranty and just saying it's driver error. I guess it has a lot to do with your dealer, but I find Polaris stands behind there warranty much better in general.

I've watched a few Can-Am Commanders have serious issues with over heating causing engine damage and Can-Am didn't do anything about it. It sad to see them treat customers like that.

I only ride terrain like this once or twice a year as its not really my cup of tea. Im much more into technical trail riding and high sped blasting. Adamcs1234, the description clearly states this is a comparison of two STOCK machines. The RZR XP 900 is in stock form as is the Can-Am Maverick XMR. It is a very good comparison of two stock machines. As I stated in the comments above, I would also like to film a comparison of a RZR XP 1000 High Lifter Edition vs a Can-Am Maverick 1000 XMR as that would be a much closer comparison. I wanted to show the strengths of the XMR model in comparison to a non mud specific machine. Many people have been asking me how a stock Maverick XMR does in comparison to a stock RZR XP and a stock RZR XP High Lifter Edition and this is the response to part of that question. I hope that clears up my goals behind this upload.
