If I've learned anything over the past 2 years, it's that life isn't just about money, but money is an important part of life. It impacts every aspect of our lives, from where we live, to deciding to start a family & to retirement. When I got my first paycheck, I knew I had to invest. I didn't think a few hundred dollars a month would add up. But it is. From 2020 to date, I have made around $600,000.

My advice is always to keep the majority in ETFs that cover multiple sectors. Then have a couple stocks, as a small percentage, picked out that you feel personally attached to or interested in. That way you can mitigate a lot of the risk but also have a personal touch to your portfolio. I feel this mitigates some of the emotional downsides or disinterest people have with investing. Also helps with the urge to constantly buy/sell with fluxes in the market. Grateful i have an adviser at this point. major Thanks to Susan Kay Mack.

The current market's uncertainties are one of the reasons I have my daily investment decisions guided by a portfolio-coach, because their entire skill set is built around going long and short at the same time, both employing profit-oriented strategy and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downtrends, and when combined with exclusive information/analysis, it's nearly impossible not to outperform. Since hiring a coach for around two years, I've earned more than $1.5 million in return on investment.

It's pretty straightforward, just buy a good cross section of an economy and you should do well over the long term. The market will be high in 10 to 20 years, and significantly higher in 30. It's almost impossible for a company with no debt to go bankrupt. The U.S. is about 50% of the global marketplace, Pay yourself first. It's time in the market, not timing the market. Last year I invested 200 grand in the S&P 500/ an allocation fund (with the help of my advisor Jane Marie Kunak of course) and it returned 370k, but guess what? I put it back and reinvested. In the past 4 years, we've cut out $60K of debt. I'll be 45 when we are able to buy our first house, and our children will be teenagers, such is sad, but we will not have any other debt. What makes me happy is that our children are going through this struggle with us. Purchasing a stock may seem straightforward, but selecting the correct stock without a proven strategy can be exceedingly challenging. I've been working on expanding my $210K portfolio for a while, and my primary obstacle is the lack of clear entry and exit strategies. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
@lucaswilliams99928 ай бұрын
the strategies are quite rigorous for the regular-Joe. As a matter of fact, they are mostly successfully carried out by pros who have had a great deal of skillset/knowledge to pull such trades off.

Having an advisor is the smartest approach in today's market, especially for those nearing retirement. I personally gained over $270K during this market downturn, which highlighted that there's valuable insight the average individual may not be aware of.
@yeslahykcim8 ай бұрын
Yeah, financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2019, and I return at least $121k ROI, and this does not include capital gain

I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.

A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. I realized that the secret to making a million is making better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Car or that vacation just yet and that mindset helps me make more money invest: ng. For example last year I invested 70k in blue chip stocks and cryptů s (with the help of my advisor of course) and made about 380k, but guess what? I put it back and traded with her again and now I'm rounding up close to a million. Delayed gratification always pays off

stock market? It's not difficult; don't make it sound complex, you might just thrive in the stock market as I did if you have a solid emergency exit plan and a reliable investment counsel. I made my first million dollars in my portfolio from stocks of outstanding companies, and I will always be thankful to James Fletcher Brennan, my modest adviser. The secret is to invest wisely. The smart workers always make more money than the hard worker, that's what i call the lawyer over lawnmower rule. Goodluck
