I say instead of voter ID that it be citizenship because in many states now illegal immigrants are allowed to get drivers licenses and with that they can register to vote so having proof of citizenship would be better…having a proof of citizenship with a national identification card with your birth certificate or your nationalization certificate would be the better option. Hopefully they can pass a complete overhaul of our voting laws and make it so that how we all vote is the same in every single state and it’s all counted the same day…it shouldn’t be voting month and mail in ballots should only be allowed for those that truly can’t make it in to vote and have a national holiday making it so everyone is able to go and vote, more places to vote and workers to handle the volume of voters. Also it shouldn’t be done with machines and only done with a paper ballot so that it can’t be in anyway changed or hacked later…also our census needs to be updated as well to make it so that illegal immigrants are not included in the census and how the count was wrong is fixed giving more points to red states and taking away points from blue states with the amount of people that have left blue states to move to red states over the years making it so that New York and California no longer are worth as much as they are in the electoral count while giving more to Florida and Texas along with states like Tennessee…
