Thanks for the wonderful information. People who come to your space to tell you how to run your space don't deserve any attention. One of my preps appears to be corn. I was working outside today spraying some lacquer on some stuff for work and a doe came up and watched me work (really begging for food). I fed her and she ended up coming by to chill and snack three times less than 50' away. It was a beautiful balance that made me smile knowing that, some day, I may need her to feed me. Until that day I will gladly share what I have in exchange for the beauty she brings to my space.

Her list: 1. Water 2. Food 3. Way to cook food 4. Self defense 5. Medicine and first aide 6. Communication 7. Something to barter with (gold and silver) 8. A way to power your devices As an addition to these I would suggest tools like basic screw drivers Philips and flat head, pipe wrench’s x2, pliers, a multi tool, a good pocket knife, multiple flashlights that have strobe and are designed to be attached to…self defense products, a good sleeping bag with a water proof bivy, a gas can, a siphon hose, 2 cans of fix a flat, a trolly jack, a air compressor, a good hatchet, a machete, WD40, 100mph tape, 550 cord, basic hygiene stuff, candles, a sewing kit, there’s so much more but I’m pretty sure I’m already boring everyone.

Thank you Tory for caring about your viewers ! 😊 you continue to remind them to prepare. I can’t believe that people actually believe being prepared is political 🤣 UNBELIEVABLE! It is our responsibility to think ahead and move on it. 😊

Thanks. Enjoyed the video, as usual. I've been collecting hand powered tools. I generally get them as they are thrown out. The pre 1970 tools are of much better quality than the later ones. It's also worth practicing your stitching on clothe, and flesh. The later on a dead rabbit ,or some other creature. If you soak a needle, and strong cotton thread in alcohol, it should be relatively sterile.

Thanks for being here, so funny you mentioned the tools, I have my great grandfathers in a shoe box, that I just packed up! I prefer to teach the kids with our manual tools, they love it!! Great tips thank you!

I live in the Netherlands and in terms of latitude this is just north of New Fountland. Cold in winter. One of the most important preps I have is an all-purpose burner and lots of coal in my basement. Have enough of this for a few years if I heat economically. Of course, you don't have to sit in the room in a T-shirt. Can also cook on it and have a camping oven that I can put on top. For the rest, you've made a good list. I have all of these too. Normally, I heat my house with natural gas central heating

Hey 👋. Nice video. I saw a solar blanket on KZbin the other day. They are generally bigger than the panels you get with your generator. Im going to research it x

@@Merrywidow55 If I can add to Tory’s response. I have taken coffee beans and sealed them in food saver bag and keep in freezer and have stored them in mason jars after sealing them with jar sealer. I haven’t tasted any difference . Best wishes to you in your endeavors
