Great content. The thing about the mk8's is that it's a great platform for making power, especially the mk8R's which make crazy gains. But the mk8's are "too" refined to the point where it sacrifices the raw driving dynamics that we saw in previous generations. Atleast in stock form it feels that way. But the trade off is easier power gains with minimal effort. Once you get full bolt ons it definitely enhances the driving experience at that point. My mk6 gti with a k04 back then felt more raw and rowdy than my current 8R.

At 6:10 you say stage 2 run... I'm sure you meant second run on stage 1 file. What fuel you are using; 91 oct, 93 oct, E85? I do not think you mentioned it anywhere in the video.

Just a question if you don't mind. Planning to buy a mk8 gti it was built 12/20 so early 2021 model. it got a stage 1+ (324hp and 462nm) and a dsg stage 2 tune. It had it for around 12k miles now and planning to buy it. Do you recommend buyting a tuned car or?

Yr Dyno reading high this is the first Dyno I have seen read 269 whp stock most are 220-240whp stock
